Most of the controversy is about whether students should be required to be on camera at all times. Here are some options for the college-wide policy: 1. Students must be on camera and on mic all the time. 2. Professors must allow students to turn off cameras and mics at all times. 3. Professors can decide the ZOOM policy for their own classes. ??? Keep in mind that your thoughts need to be supported with some reasons. For example, don’t just “Students need to be on camera!” but say why! When you think about this issue, please think about it from the perspective of learning, rather than the perspective of your immediate comfort (i.e. I can be in my pajamas off camera!) The question is: How will you learn best?
