Post a question and/or answer about the reading listed below for EC to assist your professionalism grade. There will also be an extra credit question on the final on this reading. Reading: Weeks (focus on pages 42-47 and 69-75) This forum will contain all weekly discussion topics, each of which are labeled by week number. Below I have included again general directions for posting a question and answer about the readings, taken from the syllabus: Each week, submit one question and a response to another student’s question about the readings for that week.  You should not: (Keep in mind this list is NOT exhaustive)   Repost questions from other students Ask vague and general questions (ex. What is the most ethical decision for a business?)  Post irrelevant questions that are not related to the readings for that week Provide quick or dismissive answers to others’ questions Provide questions or answers copied from the internet (This is plagiarism)   You should: (Keep in mind this list is NOT exhaustive) Consider for some time what confuses you, and what may likely confuse others, and post this question. Include why you are posing this question. This helps make a question more specific, meaningful, and accessible to other students. It helps me as well. Draw connections to business practices, either to your own experience, to events stated in the news, or other cases of business ethics that we have discussed or you know. Not be afraid. Just like in class, it is important that you ask the questions you have, and to try to give answers. Others likely have a similar, if not the same question. Give thoughtful answers. It can help if you provide page numbers or quotes from a text to help demonstrate your point. The reading below discusses worth ethic, specifically why we value it and whether or not we should value it, and to what extent. Focus on pages 42-47 and 69-75 (the middle section focuses on exploitation more than productivity, but feel free to read that as well if it interests you). Read this and post in the relevant discussion week for EC for your professionalism grade. There will also be an extra credit question on the final on this reading (the pages mentioned above).
