Part Two: Peer Feedback (Due Sunday) Your instructor will assign you a peer review partner. Your job will be to  respond to that partner’s essay by Sunday night. After reading the infographic, answer the following questions. Be as helpful as possible by pointing to specific examples in the design. Give feedback on the purpose of this infographic.  Is it to inform? Persuade? Call readers to action?  Be sure to discuss specific areas of the infographic as you support your claim. Read the design report draft carefully, and create a list of key details the designer provides about the audience and purpose of the infographic. Then, go back and review the draft of the infographic itself and provide feedback on the following questions: In what ways has the designer taken the intended audience’s background (their level of familiarity and attitudes about the topic) into account when creating the infographic ? In what ways could they improve in this regard? Is the purpose of the infographic made clear to readers? How? Given the designer’s stated purpose for this inforgraphic, give feedback on the completeness and appropriateness of the information provided. Are there any gaps in the content? Give feedback on how well the designer anticipates readers’ questions and needs. Also comment on the amount of wording included in the infographic so far—is it enough, too much, too little? Explain your answer. Describe the tone of the infographic. (The design could be humorous, calming, startling, energizing, eerie, etc.) How do the color and/or imagery choices of the infographic complement, contribute to, or detract from this tone? What is one thing the designer can do to provide a more consistent tone? Give feedback on how well the designer uses principles of visual design in the infographic. Each designer will need help seeing places in the infographic where visual elements, repetition, or contrast are not used as effectively as possible. Be sure to comment on the visual interest of the infographic—how is the infographic interesting, or what might the designer try to make the infographic more interesting?
