Make an Essay about Education system is rigged and Grading system is Bad. Make sure that the introduction answers the question posed by the essay prompt: The body paragraph, the two PIIE ones, should have the following elements.  (Note: for those students who want to prove how school isn’t rigged, simply twist their words, the quote, and/or use parts of the NAYSAYER components in our T.S.I.S. text).     a) an arguable topic sentence/ statement as a concession, (although despite, even though,–what they say), using the Gatto, Against School, as a start to assist you.  Make sure that you SUMMARIZE  the article ,briefly, by using the templates on Chapter 2, T.S.I.S.: In the article, “Against School,” John Gatto argues.    b) Make sure that the QUOTE has words, phrases, a position that can be used in service of your thesis, indicates how the system is rigged or isn’t.  Since our Gatto article doesn’t have a page number given that it’s online, simply use the last name after the quote……”      ……..” (Gatto). For all others, please use the page number only since the author is generally mentioned prior to the summary, thanks to the quotes….(230).    c) Explain, analyze taking into account the connecting the parts, meta commentary, and responding three ways (inserting what you have to say that is uniquely your own take on the situation since the writer clearly isn’t aware of today’s times. These new templates are at the end…For the record, you can choose another quote from another texts that prove how the system is rigged or not. This is as an option (for those of you who may have trouble trusting your insight).    Your Narrative Paragraph should provide your observation of showing how the school is either rigged or not given what you mentioned on your previous paragraph. At the end of your story, remember to revisit the point you made in the PIIE paragraph.   PIIE (Repeat) The conclusion should consider the larger so what, what can be done. Note: the film that we saw on the Japanese students can be a good insight to the possibilities, etc.  After you are done, make sure that you have all the introductory clauses on lock: Whenever, Since, Because..(etc.). Also, make sure that if you use a semicolon, there are two complete sentences on either end that are closely related. Lastly, watch out for run ons, which generally happen with pronouns: I, it, They….
