This English Essay is supposed to be about The Book of Negroes. I do not have a thesis statement yet but it should be something like “Agitate showed courage by continuing to fight for her rights, even when she was knocked down constantly”. The essay should be 5 pages with a works cited page at the bottom. The thesis statement should be stated first and then proven in 5 -7 paragraphs throughout the essay, using facts and quotations from the novel.
