This is an intriguing question, for our society has a “safety net” to protect the weakest members — Social Security and charities. Does this weaken our people? For nature has the survival of the fittest/strongest, which strengthens species. Is what we provide weaken our species? So, in this inquiry, we are arguing if our (or any societies’) social systems SHOULD support its weaker members or promote the stronger to create a fitter species of human.
