BP Oil Spill Aftermath: Restructuring for Management, Oversight, and Enforcement

Description

Students will prepare a paper corresponding to one of the policy issues listed below (or with instructor’s approval, a policy issue of their choice). The paper will include three components: An extensive review of the literature on public management within the policy area; Any “lessons learned” that can be drawn from the literature review; and A concluding section with a discussion of future challenges in the policy area. The paper must be at least 10 full pages, excluding cover page, table of contents, and references page. The paper should be no more than 12 full pages. Students will be required to use APA format; the paper must be typed in 12 point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, with one inch margins all around. Students are strongly encouraged to utilize The Writing Center, as grammar and punctuation will count. Students are required to use scholarly sources and peer-reviewed articles/journals for this literature review.
