Reflective Journal:  Due November 15 by 11:59pm EST   Complete a reflective journal on each of the following topics by relating each topic to a clinical patient encounter that occurred The advanced practice nursing role demonstrates leadership that effects and changes healthcare systems to promote patient-centered care for adults. The use current interdisciplinary evidence enables the advanced practice nurse to identify gaps in nursing practice knowledge and formulate research questions based on the tenets of evidence-based practice specific to the care of adult patients. Interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration in the advanced practice nursing role promotes quality patient care for adults. Informatics enables advanced practice nurses to analyzing disparities and knowledge, formulate research questions, and ensure safety and quality improvement for adult patients. Knowledge in health policy and financing of health care allows the advanced practice nurse to promote healthcare access and availability for adult patients. Ethical decision-making and utilization of theoretical knowledge allows the provision of patient-centered care for adults. The value of cultural diversity and caring aids in the delivery of holistic patient-centered care for adult patients.   This reflective journal is meant to reflect, potentially, several patient interactions during your clinical rotation.  It is unlikely you will have all these circumstances impact the clinical decision making for one patient experience.  You should provide a brief but adequate narrative on each of the topics listed above.  Three current references are required, one of which must be a current, peer-reviewed journal article published within the past 5 years.   This assignment should include a title page, running head, section headings (level 1), page numbers, and a reference page.  APA formatting is required.
