In other words, all I want you to focus on for this paper is the “stage dressing”. Think of it like a tv show or a movie. There has to be a scene and a cast of characters, right? There is backstory and history. This is where we explore that, before the show starts. Consider the following:

What is the history of this topic? Who are the experts or authorities on this issue and what do they have to say? Identify the major talking points of this issue. Does your topic have its own jargon or lingo? What other items set it apart from similar topics?
