For Essay 3, you are to choose one issue discussed by Bryan Stevenson in Just Mercy. You will discuss the history of the issue, and then explore how that history affects what is happening now. Below are the list of issues from the assignment. The issues in boldface are the ones I will be presenting, one each week, while we’re working on Essay 3. You can change your mind later, if you want.
