Values, ethics and sustainability shape much of the more interesting news events. Scan the press, magazines, on-line news sources, idea handout sheets, and TV, and choose a topic from the wide world of CSR that is relevant to the course and is of significant interest to you. Look for the ethical and societal dilemmas as you think about your position. All papers will require library and/or on-line research. Contact me if you have any questions on the selection of the topic.   APA Format, style/referencing is required. You can find this on-line or ask at the WC. The purpose of this exercise is to understand and write a position paper -a skill you will need in business. Information on How to Write a Position Paper can be found on BB under the Course Materials tab.   Length: 6-10 pages, 12 pt. font, double spaced, single-sided. You may want to take advantage of the Writing Center (see contact details under Student learning Outcomes above).   Papers need to be submitted under Assignments on Blackboard -word docs only.
