Description
Assignment: Using the Cotton case as a jumping off point, write a well-supported essay that explores one of the issues raised by the case. You may focus on the fallibility of human memory, the frequency and causes of false convictions, reforms needed to the criminal justice system, the impact of DNA and other new forensic technologies on law enforcement, the topic of forgiveness, or another issue raised by the case. Make sure your essay contains at least one properly formatted block quote and connects back to the Cotton case in the introduction and conclusion.
