We have been reading fictions which is about the human life and author’s imaginary world in the future. The books I have read in this course are H.G.Wells’ The time machine, Atwood’s Oryx and Crake, E.M.Foster’s The machine stops etc. There are 3 options for this assignment, and I would like you to do option B which does not require the knowledge from the lectures. The themes we’ve been discussing during the lecture were mostly Character-distruction, building up, Capitalism, Change versus tradition, Darkness and light, Fear of failure, Vulnerability of the meek, Overcoming etc. 3 pages of literary response and 1 page of explanation of connection to course themes required. specific info is written on the guideline attached.
