Description

Assignment  Write a scholarly paper on the issues a registered nurse may face in long term care.  Analysis and/or provide recommendations for the clinicians and/or organization, using a health informatics lens.  Specifications At a minimum, please address the following: • Include an introductory paragraph, a rationale for why the topic is important using the literature, and a summary at the end of the paper • Provide a balanced argument for any issues and include scholarly references  • Ensure to explain the “so what” and “why” behind your discussion, in a cohesive manner, as this will form the main part of your analysis or critique. Format: • Length: Maximum 6 pages, not including title page and references/figures • Format and Layout: Double spaced, 12 Times New Roman font, 1 inch margins • Use of Scholarly Sources • Reliable websites may also be used • Citations and References: APA • Please use headings where appropriate • Please include a title page and page numbers on the top right corner of the page   Marking scheme                                     Description of issue/problem – 5 marks                                     Analysis of issue/problem – 5 marks                                     Proposed solution, and critique of solution – 7 marks                                     Spelling, grammar, formatting – 3 marks                                    Total – 20 marks
