I want to pretend you are back in 1978 and to apply the Eight-Step Model for your case analysis. You work for Merck as the chairman and are responsible for deciding which projects to pursue, so you will come at this from that perspective. As chairman, how should you handle this issue? Should you invest more time and money developing Ivermectin into a drug that is safe for humans knowing it will likely never be profitable, or should you put a stop to any further research knowing that it could negatively impact profits? REMINDER: You need to make a decision using the eight steps. You are not analyzing a decision that has already been made; you are the one making the decision. You are pretending it is 1978 and a decision hasn’t been made. You will analyze what you know from the case and make your decision based on that. Title Page is also to include a Running head in the Title Page Header.
