1. Within section 1 you will need to provide a 150 word overview of the topic selected. For example, if you were to write your paper on the impact of casino’s on society you could provide some background information as to why casinos have become popular as well as the general debate over its existence in society  2. After presenting the overview you should triple space your work and present a working thesis for the final paper. Within the thesis statement you must identify the independent and dependent variables that make up your thesis statement  3. After the thesis statement has been presented a discussion as to the possible four main points you will be presenting within the paper is required. Each main point should be explained by using at least 5 sentences per main point. It would be advisable to number each main point. 4.
