Description
A thorough, yet succinct, description of your ad. Remember that your audience has not necessarily seen the ad, so you must carefully describe it for the uninformed / unfamiliar. Then, identify the ad’s target audience and analyze the ways in which the ad attempts to influence or persuade that audience (i.e. through logic, emotion, or authority). A reflection of your expectations before buying or using “the thing” or service in question. How did this ad make you feel? What did it seem to promise you? Did it suggest that it could or would make your life more manageable or exotic? The aftermath, or a reflection of your feelings and attitudes after using “the thing” or service in question. How and why was this experience a “let down”? Did you experience any guilt or buyer’s remorse?
