Comparative refugee policy. Compare and contrast the refugee policies of Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon. How do they differ? What domestic and other factors account for these differences? Your paper should not simply be descriptive, but analytical: it should attempt to address why and how things occur. If you undertake a comparative study, make sure that the comparison contributes to your analysis and that the paper isn’t simply a laundry list of similarities and differences. Because the region has experienced major political developments in recent years you will need to draw contemporary material from a broad range of media and similar sources.
