Perspective of Gold Rush Settler

the California gold rush from the perspective of a miner or settler to someone(s) back home.[1] This letter should be based on 1) contemporary historical evidence and 2) your imagination. Your letter author can be male or female, native born, Native American, or a recent immigrant, rich or poor, successful or not, you’re only limited by the sources and your imagination.   In order to base your letter on contemporary historical sources, your evidence for why your letter is historically accurate should come from the required readings listed below. Though you will imagine the entire letter, you must explain your sources for what you discuss in the letter in annotated footnotes. You can imagine any experiences for your settler or gold miner, as long as you support those claims with evidence from secondary and primary sources, or from my lectures to show that based on historical evidence those events could have happened. READ THE FILE THOROUGHLY OF DIRECTIONS INCLUDED There are six sources that you must use. Four of them are files that I added. The other two will be linked down below. These sources all must be used twice. However, Malcolm J. Rohrbough’s article must be used four times in the essay (first link below). This is all explained in one of the doc files I attached.
