This assignment is designed to provide some experience in understanding the relationship between violent conflict and minority-dominant relations.  In 3 pages (typed, double-spaced,11 pt font, ¾” margins) – Briefly describe the conflict, including the issues over which the conflict is/was fought, the parties involved, the outcome and the status now (in 2020)..Briefly!!! Explain the use of landmines in the conflict and/or in the aftermath. Discuss how this conflict is an issue for this class – Minority-Dominant Relations.  To what degree is this an issue of subordination and domination?  To what degree is the conflict ultimately about social class, race/ethnicity, gender, access to certain tangible resources, cultural beliefs or something else?
