A) Financial Information Report 1  Write a short memo or report that gives the information asked for below.  List where you found the information and the date.  Keep this information for your records since you’ll need it for Financial Information Report 2. 1) The value of the S&P 500.  Show how to find the previous day’s value using both the change from the previous day and the percentage change from the previous day.  2) The value of the VIX 3) The dollar/yen exchange rate. 4) The one-year and 30-year treasury yield. Want to practice your software skills?  Embed a yield curve in your document. B) Financial Information Report 2  Write a short memo or report (and be sure to list where you found the information and the date)  For the items found in Financial Information Report 1, show how they have changed over time.  You can choose any date that is at least one week after the first report.  For each of the four items, provide a possible reason for why they might have changed.  It doesn’t have to be the “correct” reason, since there can be multiple reasons for things to change, and so we might not know exactly the cause of the change, but give a plausible reason.
