Anti-diuretic hormones help with controlling blood pressure and it also regulates urine volume and osmolarity. The role of ADH is to help the body retain more water and lessen the amount of water that the body release in the form of urine. ADH takes the water from the urine and returns it to the distal convoluted tubule kidneys. Water then returns to the bloodstream and the concentration level of urine will go up and there will be a low amount of water that gets secreted.
