The paper is a minimum three-page research paper on a topic involving any of the subjects, artists, or time periods covered throughout the semester. Any artist, time period, movement, or subject in your textbook is acceptable.  This is a great opportunity to learn more, so choose something you want to learn more about!  The paper must be submitted through this website. To submit this assignment, attach a document. • Researching and using the MLA format is one of the key components of this assignment. • The body of the paper will be a minimum of three typed or word-processed, double-spaced pages (maximum 12-point, Times New Roman font), not including the “Works Cited” page, which is required. • The paper will include a “Works Cited” page, using the Modern Language Association (MLA) format. Information on the MLA format is available at the library and on the Internet.  A minimum of three sources are required and the textbook can count as a resource. • The “Works Cited” page is a separate and last page of the paper. Each source you cite (refer to) in the body of your paper must be cited (referred to) in your “Works Cited” page. The MLA format follows the author-page method of citation. This means that the author’s name and the page number(s) from which the quotation is taken must appear in the paper at the appropriate location, and a complete reference should appear in your “Works Cited” page. • Do not include images (.jpeg, .gif or other) in the body of your paper. You can include URL’s and they should be included on the Works Cited page. **Do not use Wikipedia.  Wikipedia is not a scholarly nor reliable source.  Khan Academy is an excellent resource**
