Explanatory Synthesis EssayStudents will complete the following steps for the researched explanatory essay: Plan an essay of at least 4-5 pages that synthesizes multiple perspectives from a variety of sources on the chosen section of your oral presentation.. A minimum of four sources will be used. This is not an argument essay and therefore should not defend a position. The essay is objective based on the research of the topic. The essay will include parenthetical citations and a Works Cited and if needed a Works Consulted page. Do not use personal pronouns you and I. Do not use contractions. Use MLA format.
