Overall impact of White collar and Organized Crimes on Society

·      Students will write a four page analytical paper on a criminal law or procedure issue.  ·      The topic must be pre-approved by the instructor.  ·      The paper must be original work, citing a minimum of 4 scholarly references (No Wikipedia) directly related to criminal law and procedure.   ·      Proper citations must be given using American Psychological Association (APA) citation formats.  Please refer to Publication Manual of American Psychological Association (7th edition) at http://www.apastyle.org/manual/index.aspx.  Students are also encouraged to take the APA style tutorial at http://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/index.aspx.  ·      The paper must be 4 pages in length and contain the sections listed below. (note: the title page and the reference page are NOT included in the 4 page total)   The paper should include the following sections, which will be discussed in more detail in class:   Introduction:             Introduce the topic and explain the purpose of the paper Issue Identification and Background:         Identify a problem/Issue in Criminal Law and/or Procedure and provide a factual historical overview Analysis:                    A reasoned discussion/analysis of the problem Summation:               The student’s conclusion after evaluating the problem Recommendations:   Recommend at least 2 solutions to the problem.
