Watch enough of the 2012 production of the Antígona Furiosa directed by Florencia Ayos, at the Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramatico (EMAD) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to get a sense for its staging. Whether or not you are able to understand the Spanish, the visual elements are an integral part of the work. Describe at least one specific moment of the 2012 staging of Gambaro’s play. Comment on how the staging / props / costumes on which you are focusing: 1. recall a specific part of Sophocles’ Antigone (with page references), but 2. create a different kind of afterlife for it in the context of Argentina’s “Dirty War.” Maximum of 150 words
