Description
The community-level studies reviewed in this module focus primarily on areas along the border/immigrant-destination cities and find a fairly robust inverse relationship between immigration and crime. What do you think is unique about neighborhoods in such cities that would generate these findings? Another way to think about this question is to consider whether you believe a similar pattern of results would be generated in communities situated in non-gateway cities? In a few sentences, please state your reasoning (refer to the academic studies in your response). Reference: Cancino, J., Martinez, R., & Stowell, J. (2009).
