Disease Report on Familial Mediterranean Fever

You will be required to write a 3-5 page paper .  The 3-5 pages does not include the glossary or the reference page.  Any style format is fine but do not cite references in your paper. Do not use pictures or graphs. List must be in sentence form. Your paper needs to be single spaced and no larger than a 12 font size. Please include at least three references for your paper. Definitions to any medical terms used in the paper should be on a separate  glossary page.  The title of your paper  or your disease topic can not be included as one as your medical terms. Acronyms are also not medical terms. A medical term is an entire word and not a word part. The 25 definitions , glossary page is worth 35 points.  I know that Webster is knowledgeable. I do not want definitions copied and pasted. Please write in your own words.  Make your definitions as complete as possible. Include any points such as where located, what it does, how is it performed and parameters. Do not quote any source in your paper.  Points will be deducted for any part of your paper that is copied and pasted. “Turn it in” is a program that looks for originality of your paper.  I do use this program. The entire paper will be submitted into a drop box that will check for originality.  I need your paper and your definitions to be entirely in your own words so that I know that you understand the topic. Topics Include: • What causes this disease? • How is it transmitted if it is transmittable? • What are the symptoms? • What are the treatments/cures? • What parts of the world is the disease found? • Other general information Please cover each topic to the best of your ability. This should not read like a pamphlet or information handout. This is your mid-term paper. YOUR Paper SHOULD INCLUDE: • A minimum of 25 medical terms. Include an attached list of these medical terms and definitions on a separate page. Any abbreviations used must be explained or clarified. The disease that your report covers cannot be a definition. • A minimum of 3 references are to be used. List your sources on a separate page titled References.  You cannot use your textbook as a source.
