Waste as Noun

Description

Topic and Purpose: Select one scene from William Shakespeare’s Hamlet where a character utilizes waste imagery and analyze how this use of waste imagery illustrates one major aspect of the character (either speaking or spoken to), plot development in that scene, or one larger theme you identify in the play.  Outside Research: You should not consult sources (books, films, internet, etc.) beyond your Norton critical edition (including footnotes, glosses, or glossary). If you choose to consult your text’s introduction to the play, just be sure to cite it in the appropriate places in your paper. If you wish to use other outside sources, please clear that with me well in advance of the paper’s deadline.
