Evaluating and Sustaining Sustainability is a primary objective in any business venture. To assure the business is sustainable, a means of evaluation must be established. The evaluation plan must account for tactical and philosophical business objectives as well as legal obligations. In this assignment, you will develop an evaluation plan that can be appended to the business plan for the venture you described in “Revision: Profile and Structures.” In describing your preferred method of evaluation, you will practice building an argument, a skill required for completing your dissertation. General Requirements: Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment: Refer to the Topic 2 assignment, “Profile and Structures.” This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. Doctoral learners are required to use APA style for their writing assignments. The APA Style Guide is located in the Student Success Center. Refer to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for specific guidelines related to doctoral-level writing. The Manual contains essential information on manuscript structure and content, clear and concise writing, and academic grammar and usage. This assignment requires that at least two additional scholarly research sources related to this topic, and at least one in-text citation from each source be included. Directions: Part 1 Present a revised version (1,500-1,800 words total) of the paper “Profile and Structures” that makes improvements in the caliber of the writing and incorporates instructor feedback regarding content and writing. Include the following in your submission: A reflection (250-300 words) that provides a bulleted list of the changes you made to the paper and discusses your revision process including how you incorporated your instructor’s feedback into the revised version. Similar to an abstract, this section will receive its own page following the title page and preceding the introduction to the paper. The revised paper that incorporates instructor feedback; clarifies the thesis statement and solidifies supporting arguments; edits for grammar, spelling, and punctuation; adjusts word choice to display professional and scholarly language; and adjusts sentence structure for improved readability.   Part 2 Write an additional 1,750-2,000 words in which you develop a plan for evaluating the success of the venture. This section should flow naturally from the revised paper. So, you may also need to revise your introduction and thesis statement to allow the ideas to connect. Address at least the following items in your plan: Rationale for Conducting Evaluation –This section must be a narrative of at least 250 words and include at least three research-supported arguments for conducting evaluation and a summary of your argument in favor of conducting evaluation. At least five scholarly sources are required to support your argument. Stakeholders in Evaluation — This section must be a narrative of at least 250 words and include a research-supported argument regarding the extent to which each stakeholder group should be involved in the evaluation. Preferred Method of Evaluation — This section must be a narrative of at least 750 words and include a statement of the preferred method, at least three research-supported arguments for the method, and a summary of your argument in favor of this method. At least five scholarly sources are required to support your argument. Frequency of Evaluation –This section must be a narrative of at least 250 words and include a statement of the preferred frequency of evaluation, at least three research-supported arguments for your proposed frequency of evaluation, and a summary of your argument in favor of this frequency.
