What are your thoughts on this music and these bands? What have you heard before? What’s new to you? Led Zeppelin has so many famous songs and they can be quite different from one another. The Spotify playlist has just one of their songs. What are some other ones you might know? Earlier in Chapter 8 you heard a version of “You Really Got Me” by the Kinks. How does Van Halen’s cover version of that song compare to it? In a lot of this music the guitar parts have become more of a what people remember than the lyrics or vocals. Can you think of some examples of that? Do you notice the different sections of songs like David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”?   I also attached a screenshot of instruction with song lists that you need to listen to answer these questions. it’s just weekly discussion so shouldn’t be that long ( just 1-2 paragraph is enough) and don’t have any format.  you can just answer like ” I have heard band name ” ~ ~” before” something like this.
