The Thesis: Acknowledging the effect of power relations on personal lives, as this paper will argue the following three arguments Three Arguments: Knowledge is caught up in relations of power as it is it is neither neutral nor impartial The power relations on personal lives creates one’s personality and the way they would act around othersThe power relations on personal lives creates one’s personality and the way they would act around others Those with power are viewed different within society, leaving individuals without feeling small and powerless The Six Evidences – six philosophical concepts: Knowledge is caught up in relations of power as it is it is neither neutral nor impartial There is no power that is exercised without a series of aims and objectives The abatement between the concept of ‘truth’ and what is believed to be true as ideas The power relations on personal lives creates one’s personality and the way they would act around others -it’s impossible for such assistance to be free It is not the people in power that initialise such marginalization instead the working of power comes from below Those with power are viewed different within society, leaving individuals without feeling small and powerless The powerless believe they are viewed as less human not only by the ones in power but the observers of the power dynamic People without power are left with disadvantages that people in power will not experience because they are treated as more than the average person.
