Description
Finish reading To Kill A Mockingbird. Then watch the 1961 Gregory Peck movie version of To Kill A Mockingbird. Discuss the differences between the movie and the book: What was eliminated from the movie that was in the book? What was kept in, and how did it “work” when depicted as a film? What do you think about the trial scene as depicted in the movie? Was it faithful to Harper Lee’s story? If you are the first to respond to this assignment, Create a Thread, name it with the topic you are addressing. Others who post should look at what has already been posted and comment. If you want to address a different topic, Create a Thread, name it with the topic you are addressing, and post. Each person should post at least three times before the end of Week 11. Make sure not to repeat what has already been said. Make sure that it is obvious that you have both read the book and watched the movie without multitasking.
