Discussion Content For this week’s discussion we will be talking about the scholarship you started last week and looking ahead to your second essay, all about Dracula. In your initial post I would like for you to talk about which kind of scholarship you think you are most interested in applying to the novel and why. What do you think will make it fruitful? What themes will it bring out in your writing? For your subsequent posts, I would like you to discuss a plotpoint from the novel that you think might relate to the kind of criticism your classmates have selected. If they have chosen psychoanalytic criticism, for example, what portion of Dracula do you think might be worth looking at to generate more material?
