Overview
Congratulations on making it to our final week! In our final week together, we will discuss our perspectives on the class and how the material applies. There have been a variety of assignments that allow you to consider how concepts appear in a practical society versus an ideal one. In this discussion you will have the opportunity to explain your perspective on the course with regard to how the assignments assisted you with learning the material. Since concepts from sociology apply throughout our lives, we will take time to explore how our lives will adjust as a result of material learned in this class, and how we can positively impact society with the new information from the class.
You should spend approximately 2 hours on this assignment.
Instructions
1. In this discussion board, respond to the following questions:
· Which assignments did you enjoy and learn the most from? Which assignments were challenging, and why? “My ideal society assignment”
· What did you learn from this course that applies to other areas of your life? Explain how society applies to life.
· How can you implement at least two concepts from the class in your life?
· You spent a good portion of this class considering an ideal society. Now that you have developed your society, with whom can you share your work to make an impact beyond this class? “My family” and then explain
2. Respond to the discussion questions. Share with your classmates what you learned by writing a post about the topic. The post should be a minimum of 150 words. Your original discussion post must include two sources cited in APA Style.
3. After you post your initial message, respond to the posts of at least two other students. Response posts should further the discussion by adding educational concepts and asking clarifying questions in a minimum of 75 words.
