Let’s hear about your ideal society! Throughout this course we have brainstormed and addressed the course concepts in our discussions and written assignments. We have also hopefully built a rich learning community. Now each of you will present parts of your ideal society to your peers. The purpose of this discussion is for you to gain valuable feedback from your peers that will help you complete and evaluate your project. Please remember your classmates are also working hard on their projects. As part of this discussion, you will offer feedback that includes commenting on two positive aspects of the classmate’s community and suggesting one point he or she can consider to enhance the society.
You should spend approximately 4 hours on this assignment.
Instructions
1. You will present to your peers one of your main concepts from each of the following areas of your ideal society:
· One main concept from key concepts
· One main concept from theory
· One main concepts from people
2. Along with your three takeaways, explain how each concept builds your ideal society.
3. The post should be a minimum of 150 words. Your original discussion post must include two sources cited in APA Style.
4. After you post your initial message, respond to the posts of at least two other students. Think about how your perspective of an ideal society differed from your peers. How was it similar? In your response, identify two positive aspects of your classmate’s society by providing evidence why it is a positive aspect. Also, provide one point he or she can consider that might enhance the community; be sure to explain why you feel this will enhance it. Response posts should analyze your classmate’s ideal society in a minimum of 75 words.
