1. Early Childhood sleep problems can be damaging to the young child and then in return can have mental health issues later on in life. Behavioral sleep problems are associated with onset mental health symptoms(Physician’s Briefings, 2020). When the child doesn’t have a regular sleep pattern throughout the night starting at six months old; it is gonna get worse before they become a toddler, if it doesn’t get under control. Children need to have a better routine at night. They need to have the caregivers show them attention and teach them what is supposed to be done before bed. Children need a good meal before bed. They need to brush their teeth and have a bath. After they are ready for bed, it is best if a child has a light for comfort or a bathroom light on. If they can be read to this can help the child learn something new and began to talk. When a parent talks the child in at night and has that caring and comfort feeling it helps the child have a goodnight rest. The child needs to feel loved and cared for so no health issues arise among them. When children have the attention from others it helps them gain a relationship and become social with others around them. When they have a calm setting routine then can get a good night sleep it makes for better health and kids wont be stressed and depressed about anything. Children that are stressed and depressed usually become quiet and anti social and they start gaining weight because they are over eating at dinner. It can help the child feel better about themselves because they aren’t getting that attention at home. Parents need to watch for warning signs from the child, so they know how to help prevent it.  Health problems in children can start young and if its not taken care of or prevented before to long, it causes long lasting affects on the child.

2. One of the biggest childhood health issues that come to mind is childhood.  Childhood obesity is one of the most serious health problems, and this problem takes on global dimensions, with the number of overweight children estimated to have exceeded.  “The prevalence of childhood overweight and obesity has more than doubled in the past 25 years.  Nearly 50 percent of the children in North and South America, 39 percent in Europe, and 20 percent in China are likely to be overweight (Martorell, G. Papalia, D. Feldman R., 2014).  Overweight and obese children are more likely to remain obese in adulthood, and they also are at risk of many diseases. Such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease, depression, low self-esteem, high blood pressure, and high blood pressure, and high cholesterol at an early age (Martorll et al., 2014).  Children gain weight when they eat more than their bodies need.  The lifestyle and the environment in which the children live may be one of the reasons why they eat large amounts of food and type of foods, such as fast food, candy, and soft drinks.  Children follow their parents’ habits, so if parents are overweight and are used to eating unhealthy foods, children imitate them.  Also, obesity in some children is associated with genetic factors acquired from parents.  It is well-known that overweight, obesity, and related diseases can largely be prevented.  The issue of prevention of childhood obesity must be given a high priority. It is recommended to follow the following things to prevent children from getting obesity: Nutrition counseling can help the child to learn what foods to eat and what portions are best for their age.  Parents should reduce their children’s consumption of sugar-rich beverages.  Focus on eating enough fruits and vegetables.  Minimize fast food in restaurants as much as possible. Parents can help their children by teaching them how to make healthy choices of food, limiting T.V time, increasing physical activities, and ensuring that they are getting enough sleep.

3. There are several childhood issues some are acute medical conditions that last a short time and others are chronic medical conditions that recurrent physical or long-lasting. Childhood hypertension (high blood pressure) was normally a rare condition and is now an evolving epidemic” of cardiovascular risk. This is more common in ethnic minority groups, the poor Adm minority children who are more than likely to not be insured or have the regular health care they need. Obesity n children is a major factor that contributes to hypertension. Healthy diet changes, losing weight, and more physical activity are common treatments for overweight- related hypertension. There are times that the blood pressure does not lower and threw are drug treatments that can be used in the treatment. There are cautions to take when prescribing drugs for hypertension due to the long-term effects that they can have in children that are unknown at this time (Martorell, Papalia & Feldman, 2014).

4. One of Gardner’s eight theories of intelligence is Interpersonal Intelligence which are people who are good interacting and understanding other people. Not only are these types of people good at assessing motivation, desires and emotions, but also the intentions of others around them. Their strength is relating and understanding others. The characteristics of an interpersonal intelligent person includes good verbal communication, skilled at non-verbal communication, seeing a situation in different perspectives, develops positive relationships with others and is good at resolving conflict among group settings (Martorell, Papalia, & Feldman, 2014). Potential carrier choices are a counselor, salesperson, philosopher, psychologist and politician.

5.  Eight Intelligences according to Gardner is linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalist. Musical intelligence is the ability to perceive and create patterns of pitch and rhythm. The fields or occupations someone with this strength might excel at is musical composition and or conducting. Gardner preferred to see this giftedness as intelligence instead of talent. Kell, Melissa (2019) ThoughtCo. In Teaching Students Who Have Musical Intelligence said “encouraging students to enhance their musical intelligence means using the arts (music, art, theatre, dance) to develop students’ skills and understanding within and across disciplines.” Musical composers work hard at arranging technical aspects of each genre including music theatre, blues,classical music, folk music, pop and jazz music A music conductor is a person who conducts orchestra, opera companies, chorus, ballet or other musical group in the performance and interpretation of ensemble works. At the most fundamental level, a conductor must stress the musical pulse so that all the performers can follow the same metrical rhythm.I have noticed that you can see music intelligence early in young children. Once parents are aware of their children’s interest and outstanding ability they should support and encourage it.

6. According to Gardner’s eight theories of intelligence there are more categories to intelligence than what society considers to be traditional intellectual intelligence.  Gardner categorizes intelligence in a broader way by taking into consideration an individual’s talents and categorizes them as the following, linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist (Martorell, Papalia, Feldman. 2014).  A person that would fall under the category of intrapersonal intelligence would be very likely to be successful and excel as a counselor.  Intrapersonal people usually possess characteristics, such as, processing emotion, being introspective, analyzing themselves or others, and striving to be understanding.  Intrapersonal characteristics are generally necessary qualities a counselor would need to help someone process their own experiences and emotions, being that they have a good understanding of these qualities and practice for themselves, they can help others navigate these practices
