Topics can include understanding the influence of exceptionalities, culture, family, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, language, race, ethnicity, and age upon the educational experience. After reviewing the topic, the student will use technology, such as Screencast-O-Matic (free version) (http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/) or Microsoft Photo Story 3 (free version) (http://download.cnet.com/Photo-Story-3-for-Windows/3000-12511_4-10339154.html), to share your observations with the class. The presentation should be 3-5 minutes in length. Select one peer-reviewed journal article written within the past five years that discusses a major topic covered in EDF 2085. The article must be a minimum of three (3) pages in length excluding cover and reference pages. Include in your presentation: Your opinion of the article’s viewpoint. Support your viewpoint with citations from the article and EDF 2085 course textbook. Include how the article relates to our readings and discussions in EDF 2085. Give specific examples. Include images to enhance your presentation. Be sure to cite any ideas and reflections in your presentation that are represented in the article or from the textbook. Notes: This assignment is in the form of a discussion board, therefore you are required to comment on three of your classmates’ presentations.
