Description

Introduce narrative family therapy. Identify the primary contributors, and then, explain the context of the theorists at that time (e.g., place, background, interests). Comment on the therapeutic relationship. Explain the methods therapists use to separate the person from the problem. How do they thicken the family story to enrich its narrative? Identify and describe model interventions Explore how social constructionist therapists work to stabilize, normalize, and create acceptance in clients as methods of solving the concerns of clients.
