This is a big part of your final course project so lets do the research now to list 3 features and the benefit for each feature you want to highlight in your presentation to “sell your client” on why they should use “YOUR” selected hotel and not another one nearby (what makes YOUR hotel unique and different from other hotels in the comp set?) *Your feature should not be – the restaurant, pool (unless it is unique such as TX shaped), allow dogs, etc… You want it to be for the business traveler or a convention attendee. Then explain why your three features are important for the success of an meeting or an event. (at least 150 words to no more than 300 words) Please provide the link to the hotel website at the end of your summary! Named three features and their benefit for each one that is unique to that hotel. (.75 points for each feature and 1 point for each benefit explanation) HINT: Do not list a restaurant as your feature…all hotels have this – make sure it is something you can “sell” to your client why your hotel is better than the one down the street. 5.25 points Explain why these features are so important to the success of a meeting or an event. 3 points Provided the web link for the selected hotel .75 points Used correct spelling, grammar, and MLA format and source citations. 1 points Total: 10 1. Do not use the meeting space or suites as a feature as all hotels have space and rooms. IF you are going to use these make sure there is something about it that no other hotel has to ensure it is a benefit for meeting attendees 2. Do not use pet friendly or anything about kids eat free or babysitting services for the project. This is great and a feature but NOT for a business traveler. 3. Do not use groups of features such as amenities or large meeting space or lots of rooms or trained staff. This all maybe true but you need to be more specific as to what the feature is and why it will benefit the attendee such as Free Wi-Fi, refrigerators in all the rooms, heated pool, etc…
