-You must make a thesis driven argument (with claims/evidence) about a relevant, specific, timely issue or problem that you care about. This argument must respond in some way to outside research. -You must use at least five reliable, academic sources in a purposeful way. -You must include counter arguments and address perspectives other than your own, pointing out weaknesses and gaps in the research you’ve done. -Your essay must show substantial revision in between drafts that addresses global issues such as argument and logic, organization, and rhetorical awareness, as well as local issues such as grammar, spelling and punctuation -Your essay must be in either MLA or APA format. I decided to base my research paper on the way women have been controlled by men for ages, men seeing themselves in control/have power over women. in a recent draft I submitted I spoke about the history of events in which women have created movements to slowly achieve freedom. I spoke about the woman’s suffrage movement as well as the feminist movement and included sources such as the book lighting the fires of freedom. I couldn’t really put it together myself tho so I’m hoping you can do a good job on exposing the history of women under the control and power of men and how they eventually freed themselves to claim the rights they have.
