This week’s readings & lecture notes has identified 3 myths, exaggerations, or stereotypes of adulthood: the midlife crisis, the sandwich generation, and the empty nest syndrome. For your initial post, first select one of these three topics for further investigation and answer the prompts below. You can either number your responses or submit at least 2 paragraphs (3-5 sentences minimum each) summarizing your response. 1. Identify and define/describe the topic you have selected (midlife crisis, sandwich generation, or empty nest syndrome). 2. Assess why you believe society might hold a misconception regarding the phenomenon you have selected. 3.
