Write a 700-1000 (350-500 per book) word paper responding to Nimona and The Giver. Part of this response should just be your reactions to them, the other should be making connections between them, other novels we’ve read, and the material in this module and the ones before.. You may structure this as one free-flowing response that addresses both books together, particularly using the later questions of connections between them, or you may divide it into two distinct sections, one for each book. Response papers are graded more on content than mechanics, though they should still be as well-written as possible. You don’t need a thesis statement or to worry overmuch about organization – these are informal writing, not formal essays. I am looking for both your personal response and the connections you make with the other material.
