Read through these chapters, considering the psychological research on healthy psychological development in adulthood. Also, watch the videos and read the handouts for the chapter I have provided in the file. After you have a good understanding of the theories and research, answer the following questions: – Based on the psychological research, what do you see as some of the most important things that adults need (need to have, or need to be doing), in order to be happy and psychologically healthy? Pick at least four issues/things that the research shows adults should be doing, or working to have/maintain, in order to be fulfilled and “living their best life.” Explain each psychological issue and the related research clearly, in detail, and in your own words. For each issue/theory that you use, provide the source of the psychological information. Such as: (Textbook, Chapter 7) or (PowerPoint, Chapter 8) or (Handout, Chapter 9). This is not APA format, and does not need to provide a page number. Just the Chapter (7, 8, 9 or 10), and the which course resource you are referring to (textbook, PowerPoint, guest lecture, or handout). – Next, explain how can you apply this research to improve your own life. What are some specific and concrete things that you can do now, or in the future, to better your current and/or future life? For each of the different psychological issues/needs that you have identified, come up with at least one (or more) specific thing that you can do in order to apply that research to yourself, and your own life. Explain in detail the things that you can change, do, improve, prioritize, or focus on, and how the psychological research says that these actions/thoughts/behaviors can change your life for the better. Have an introductory paragraph, and then at least 4 additional paragraphs – one for each psychological issue that you cover and the conclusion. Remember that this is a college assignment, and college-level writing is expected.
