Each module contains a writing assignment. (7 points each = 42 points total for the semester) Assignments must be submitted by Friday of each Module. Submit assignments before Canvas locks each assignment, preventing submission. Within each assignment, you must reference TWO items of information you learned from one or more of the Module’s lectures. Please cite the approximate time-stamp from the point in lectures you referenced the data/info. For example: “Instructor Miller pointed out the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is twice the size of Texas. (Lecture 10: 4 min. 35 sec.)” Reference can be to statistics, case studies, or concepts from the Lecture. Including the lecture references will allow you to achieve the full 7 points for each writing assignment. Each submission has the following requirements: • 500-600 words are expected. • Double spacing and standard 1-inch margins. • DO NOT copy and paste from other resources/content. (You will be deducted points if Saddleback plagiarism software finds copied information.) Content should be original and thoughtful to earn full points. • Avoid quoting other authors / sources. You may express others’ ideas in your own original words. • Properly cite two points (and their time-stamps) from one or more of that Module’s lectures, within the assignment.
